This year is off to an amazing start for all of us at Taspen's Organics! We are SO thrilled for our vision to be unfolding in this powerful new year! We are expanding our Holistic Wellness Center with new Pracitioners and Classes in Suite 4, and increasing our space for manufacturing Taspen's Organics product line in Suite 2. Things are shaking and moving and the energy is flowing.  Stay tuned for more details and a celebration!!! There are many more surprises and joys to be experienced at Taspen's Organics in the months to come!

We are traveling for events this year....
Not only can you find us in Colorado and Florida as in previous years, but we just at the Yoga Journal Conference in San Francisco, CA last week, and this weekend we were in Dallas, TX at the Dental Convention. You can find us next week at the Home and Garden show if you're in Iowa... and possibly somewhere else new and unexpected! Just keep checking our "Calendar of Events" page on our website for more updates.

Description: Create vocal sounds as a group to activate and align with the healing energies of your own voice, the cosmos, and the power of the New Moon. Enjoy a personalized sonic bath with didgeridoo, horizontal gong, Tibetan-style Throat Singing, and/or Tibetan bowls, offered to each participant at the end of class by your Teacher/Guide. Classes offered on or near the New Moon of each month.

"Last summer I went to Haiti for the second time. As it happens any time I leave the Country I got back very sick. Mainly because I insist in sitting with the locals, especially since I'm from Puerto Rico, right next to Dominican Republic/Haiti. I returned to the US in July with THE worst stomach bug I have ever had, keeping in mind that I have frequent GI issues. It was diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea/vomiting, just plain painful. The doctor prescribed Cipro and surprisingly Loperamine. After I finished the antibiotics (did't take loperamide) I was constipated, bloated and in pain. I was desperate, I had massaged my feet, taken probiotics, chugged water, everything I could come up with. My issue kept going from one extreme to the other. One day I went to the farmer's market [in Colorado] trying to get distracted. The two men tending the Taspen's table were very helpful and empathetic with my husband's and my pain. While we were paying for a Digestive Ease and a body butter I had to run to the bathroom. As soon as I got in the car I took the Digestive Ease. Less than 10 minutes after, I was feeling better than I had felt in weeks. The next week we went back to get more of it to share with my mom. Since then, we have bought about 4 more and have given to our friends when they are sick. They have also ordered it for themselves. I just placed another order myself!

All of this is to say thank you! I travel a lot, its a lot better when I know I can eat wherever I am. I carry them always in my purse. Always."

OCTOBER FUNDRAISER,

A LETTER FROM THE MAYOS: 

As many of you know, in October we held a fundraiser to support our employees, John & Sherri Mayo, who were directly impacted by a rock slide in Buena Vista, that claimed five of their family member's lives. We matched the money raised and did an online fundraiser that provided $593 of relief to lessen the unexpected hardships that come with such a devestating tragedy. This is what John & Sherri wanted to share with you:

"Just a note to thank all of our Taspen's Organics supporters for all of your love and support, whether through thoughts, prayers or donations, during the Rockslide tragedy in Buena Vista on September 30, 2013. We couldn't have gotten through this difficult time without your support.

Gracie's leg [our niece who was the only survivor from the rock slide] has healed nicely and is doing well. She is back on her basketball team and is involved in her sports again which I believe is helping her heal emotionally. She is adjusting as well as can be expected! Her spirits are very high and is helping the rest of the family in their healing process.
