June is almost over, and here in Montana the rain has finally let up and we're looking forward to those long, hot summer days! We're gearing up for our Third Annual Art on the Lawn, and this year be sure to check out our Guest Workshop Artist Chad Poppleton and our High School Art Scholarship (New this Year!).

Our website is currently being updated and moved to a new format, so be sure to check it often for new information: CobaltMoose.com

Upcoming Fall Workshops

This Fall we will be offering two mini-workshops! We'll bring back our popular "Mastering Color" workshop from the spring, and adding a "Drawing for Painting" workshop to the mix. Check our website later this summer for dates and more details!

There has been a lot of traveling and a lot of spring cleaning (and yard work!) this spring, but in between everything we've kept busy:

Whitney: I have been on a huge kick of horses and bird paintings this year, and it doesn't seem to be letting up any time soon! For me, both of these subjects are a perfect excuse to play with bold color.

Terry: I began this spring by exploring many of the Southwest subjects that first inspired my love of art, and after our recent travels south I'm excited to continue with the theme!
