The overwhelming majority of Arizona Republican precinct committeemen passed resolutions and many concluded with the statement:

“Governor Brewer is correct that "elections have consequences". She is wrong in believing that it means that Republicans must roll over and forsake our core values whenever Republicans lose a national race. This is our line in the sand.”

So – did you mean it? I did. Make no mistake she crossed the line. 

I formed a committee with stalwart former conservative state Senators Frank Antenori and Ron Gould, “The United Republican Alliance of Principled Conservatives,” URAPC, and here is the plan:

The State of Arizona allows the people to Veto Legislation. The “veto” or “referendum” will allow the people to put Governor Brewer’s Medicaid Expansion bill a.k.a. Obrewercare on the 2014 ballot. The first step is to collect 120,000 signatures within 90 days of the end of the session. (You cannot collect signatures before the session ends.) Once the signatures are validated Obrewercare will be put on hold until the 2014 election. We need 1500 people to each gather 100 signatures. We will start by holding a rally and canvassing LD18, home to top Brewercrat Senator McComish who introduced the expansion on the Senate floor. We will then move to the House member who introduces the bill. We will continue throughout the state and we will do this!
