The rest of the Northeast may be shut down because of a little snow storm, but not Registration for the Keystone Conference! For 2016, we have three different programs that you can register under:
Regular Attendee Program
The Keystone Conference strives to be the best value event of the year by keeping our prices low. Here is a link to the Regular Attendee Registration Rates which briefly describe and compare the various packages available to our regular attendees. Early registration rates are available until January 31st.
Family & Youth Program
The Family & Youth program has been expanded greatly for 2016. Although family and students will find some workshops of interest on Thursday and Friday, the majority of our programming is scheduled on Saturday, March 12th at our newest venue the Red Lion Hotel (located immediately across the street from the Sheraton). We have both education workshops and social activities planned including a Family & Youth pizza party, pool party, parent reception and the "Butterfly Ball" for the older students. Provider Day Training Program
We extend a welcoming invitation to health care professionals to join us Saturday, March 12th for our program, "Developing a Transgender Inclusive Medical Practice." We will offer training to you and your
staff on the social and cultural background, correct terminology and protocols to assist you to better serve the needs and sensitivities of transgender and gender nonconforming patients. Additionally, you'll come to understand the institutional barriers that such people feel are present in the medical services and you will learn ways to remove them from your practice or place of service. more information about our Family & Youth program.
New Sign in Procedures
For 2016, we've added the step of signing into the website to provide an additional layer of privacy & security. Doing so permits us to better safeguard your personal & registration information as well as other items such as your 'flair pins'. Once you create an account and sign in, you'll be able to access the new 'MyConference' page.
The Return of the Flair Pins
Yes, by very popular demand, we are bringing back the Flair Pins. We are modifying the design of our namebadge to permit additional pins and haven't turned on that part of our website yet. We'll put out an email when we do.
Reserve Your Room Now
Please make your room reservations now! We are expecting a very well attended event and a full hotel. The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel is offering a rate as low as $112/night, but only until February 22nd. As of Friday, only 13% of the rooms are left to be reserved so don't delay! If you cannot make it to Keystone this year, please cancel your reservation by emailing Megan directly at the Sheraton at megan.wilkinson@sheratonhershey.com to ensure your cancelled room is available for other Keystone attendees.
Interested in Being a Sponsor?
Your sponsorship is vital in allowing this conference to continue its significant successes of the past five years! This important program provides the funds necessary to support conference activities as well as scholarship money for those who are in need. Our new Gold-level sponsorships include an individual room for you to conduct presentations,
consultations and receptions at your choosing and convenience and as often as you would like. We'll advertise your individually tailored schedule in our program booklet on a 2-page facing ad. Also, Gold level sponsors have the opportunity to purchase one of the eight premium ad spaces. Silver, Bronze and Patron level sponsorships are also available!
