San Diego Airport Uses Our 360 Virtual Tour Photography

SAN Sunset Cove Virtual Tour by San Diego Commercial Photographer Andrew Abouna

You might of seen the signs along San Diego freeways advertising new features at the San Diego International Airport (SAN.org), including dining and shopping.

What you might not have seen yet are is informative and fun 360-degree virtual tour photography that I created for SAN. Along with the still photos that I also shot, the two sets of commercial photography make up an important component for the super-popular interactive SANMap application.

SANMap interactive map with Virtual and commercial photography

Created by partner ATKINS Global, the interactive map allows local and international visitors to help find their way around all terminals of the airport.

Go ahead, visit my Virtual Tour page and select a tour of the airport to see what's new, or visit SANMap to see more.

Can’t Decide on the Size, Color, or Layout of Your Favorite Photos?

You’re not alone. Choosing between the many options for displaying photos can sometimes be difficult. The uncertainty is a reason why many beautiful photos go un-ordered and remain unseen on your computer's hard drive.

It’s not uncommon that I encounter engagement and wedding photography clients who understandably have a tough time trying to decide how they’d like their many favorite photos be prepared for hanging on their walls.

But the problem is solved by creating a series of mockups of the various print and layout ideas. When a series of photo print ideas are shown in proportion to a room with furniture, clients can get a realistic visual of how their finished favorite photos can look.

Visualization Case Study

I recently prepared a series of mockups of five different photo print ideas for Julia and JD for their wedding photos. In addition to the main photo atop, shown below are two more sample mockups. You can see additional mockups and read the entire article here.

These mockups helped the couple visualize and select their favorite collage, which is the one shown in the top of this article. The resulting metal print wedding photo collage, measuring 60" wide by 20" high, looks nothing short of fantastic! These professional metal prints look much more brilliant than the helpful mockups portrayed. I know Julia and JD will be very happy to see the metal prints hanging like art on their wall.
