No Bark and All Bite
Recently when hired to renovate this Master Bathroom, the owner decided it was time to brighten it up with a few minor changes that created a lot of impact. First, we replaced the more traditional travertine tiles on the countertop for a sleeker solid surface material by Silestone and brand new undermount sinks with shiny new chrome fixtures. Pivoting mirrors from Restoration Hardware flanked by George Kovacs tube LED lighting allow our client to primp in eco-friendly style. To complement this modern feel, we selected a backsplash in a white polished marble linear tile that carries around the tub to give a timeless yet contemporary look. Floating shelves in a dark espresso finish handsomely hold our client's extra bathing amenities on a backdrop of clean white paint. The distinctively sensuous Moroccan style light fixture crowns the area where the colorful little painting says it all... this small space quietly delivers a big design bite.
