Elite Painters Get Chance to Work in Locations and Style of Church, Bierstadt, Gifford
Again this summer, skilled painters were carefully screened by a New York City atelier and invited to participate in a fellowship program centering on the Hudson River School's aesthetic and tradition. For three weeks, the 20 selected artists worked in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, carefully preparing and executing plein air drawings and landscapes. [read more]

Event's Hiatus Doesn't Stop Plein Air Competition in Vermont
The organizers of the Plein Air Vermont competition decided to take 2014 off to regroup and refocus the event, but the year just couldn't pass without some kind of plein air competition.
