Nubians joyfully join the millions in celebrating Madiba’s 95th Birthday

Madiba Nelson Mandela

The Nubians around the world congratulate the Madiba on his 95th happy birthday and wish him the best of health.

Nubians consider Madiba, Nelson Mandela as one of the greatest leaders of our time. They recall with admiration the heroes of the African liberation movements such as Patrice Lumumba and equate them with the great African legendary heroes of the glorious history of Africa. They look at Madiba as they look at the great Kushite Nubian celebrity, Pharaoh Taharka who ruled the Nile valley and fought the Assyrian imperial army out of Jerusalem in 701 BC and saved Judea from annihilation.

Nubians who are facing dangers of annihilation and cultural genocide in Sudan, Egypt and other parts of Africa need a leader of his caliber to stop destruction of the African history and identity.

While recalling with admiration his great and noble struggle against apartheid and racial discrimination, Nubians remain strongly attached to their ancestral lands and archaeological sites, facing the eminent threats of destruction by dams which will submerge the oldest African civilization monuments and artifacts forever while the African nations and the world are silent.

The whole world protested loudly against the destruction of Buddha of Bamiyan statue in Afghanistan by Taliban while they kept silent against destruction of Nubian monuments by dams in Sudan! The Nubian land which was described by the British historian, Basil Davidson as the largest archaeological home in the world is threatened now by series of dams financed by the Islamist petrodollar countries and China.

God bless our honorable leader, Madiba and give him the strength and the best of health and prosperity to the great nation of South Africa.
